Person responsible for the protection of personal information
Under Quebec’s Law 25, the person responsible for the protection of personal information at DXM Technologie inc. is:
Dominic Bourget, Presidentprivacy@dxmtech.com
514-690-6297
Information we collect
- Business contact details provided by clients and prospects
- Technical information required to deliver our services
- Site browsing data, see the Cookies section
Why we collect it
- To respond to service and quote requests
- To carry out our integration and support mandates
- To meet our legal and contractual obligations
Who we share it with
We never sell personal information and never share it for advertising purposes. We rely on suppliers who process it on our behalf, in the following categories: email and office tools; customer relationship management and support ticketing; hosting of our website and internal applications; accounting and invoicing; remote technical support; time tracking and project management. These suppliers are bound by contract and may only use the information for the purposes we entrust to them. Some host their data outside Québec, including in the United States. Before entrusting information to a supplier, we assess the protection it provides. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected for, then destroy it. As a guide: enquiries received through our forms that do not lead to an engagement are kept for two years; client files and accounting records are kept for seven years after the end of the relationship, in line with our tax obligations; unsuccessful job applications are kept for one year. These periods may be extended where a dispute or a legal obligation requires it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or file a complaint. Write to privacy@dxmtech.com.
You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses no advertising cookies and does no profiling. We measure traffic with Google Analytics, which sets a cookie that recognises a visitor from one visit to the next. That cookie is only set once you accept: until you answer, or if you decline, no measurement script is loaded at all. Your IP address is truncated before anything is recorded. Declining changes nothing about your visit, and you can revisit your choice at any time below.
Confidentiality incidents
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we notify the individuals concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as required by Law 25. We maintain a register of confidentiality incidents.
Reporting a vulnerability
To report a security vulnerability, see our dedicated page or write tosecurity@dxmtech.com.
